A Trust Thamesmead school held a Diamond Jubilee celebration as the children dressed up in their most patriotic attire.

Acorn pre-school, of Glimpsing Green, wore red, white and blue to resemble the British flag, and they also got involved in flag making and icing biscuits.

Pre-school leader Sara Peache: “There were lots of princesses, princes and our very own guardsmen. It was absolutely fantastic.”

Children and parents also enjoyed a puppet show put on by the teachers.
