A Thamesmead travel consultant will become a star of the small screen tonight, as he stars in Sky 1’s documentary series All Aborad: East Coast Trains.

Joe Ashukem takes centre stage in the fourth episode of the 10-part series, called Not Your Regular 9 to 5.

The episode centres around Joe’s love of people - which is tested by tricky customers and disgruntled passengers at London’s Kings Cross station.

He said: “I really enjoyed taking part in the documentary. As well as being on national TV, people will get the chance to see behind the scenes at East Coast, and see the effort put in by my colleagues and I to help customers in whichever way we can.”

His episode will be aired at 8pm on Sky 1 and Sky 1HD. It will also be available online for Sky subscribers at
