Thieves seize console games worth £200k

THOUSANDS of new computer games were stolen from a parked lorry.

THOUSANDS of new computer games were stolen from a parked lorry.

Thieves sliced the canvas sides of the lorry and made off with 4,992 Nintendo Wii 'Fishing Frenzie' games, outside Europa Worldwide Logistics in Hailey Road, Thamesmead.

Police believe the theft happened overnight between Wednesday, October 1 and Thursday, October 2 from 9.30pm and 7.30pm.

The game hit the shops last Thursday and the loot is estimated to be worth £200,000.
