A young model dreaming of pageant show success is organising her very own catwalk.

Hayley Day, 14, is representing Kent teens at the Catwalk Perfect UK grand final November, and is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy student has already raised £1,200 for both charities.

The teenager explained what inspired her to first get into modelling.

She said: “It all started at the beginning of last year, I saw some other kids doing adverts and thought I’d like to try that, so I got some pictures taken and a portfolio.

“Since then I was in the Face of the Globe pageant, and I’m feeling good about Catwalk Perfect, I’ve already made some great friends.”

To keep raising money hosting catwalk event on August 5 at Crayford’s VCD Athletic Clubwhich will feature a range of entertainment, including a magician, a DJ and catwalk modelling.
