A guide to crime figures across England and Wales’ universities has revealed London’s safest place for students.

Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance in Sidcup has been ranked as the safest university in the capital, and made the top 10 safest colleges across England and Wales.

The top ranking came from ‘The Complete University Guide’s 2016 Crime Tables’, which combines the reported incidents per 1,000 residents around students’ term-time addresses.

“We work very hard with local partners, the police and through out Students’ Union to maintain the highest safety standards we can” explained principal Michael Earley.

A recent survey discovered 100 per cent of first-year students felt safe on campus.
