Time running out for Bexley children to register for grammar school selection tests

PUBLISHED: 16:17 05 July 2013 | UPDATED: 16:17 05 July 2013

Bexley parents have just over a week to register their children for the borough’s selection test.

Register online at bexley.gov.uk/selectiontests before midnight on Sunday, July 14.

The selection test is to decide whether children can be considered for a place at one of the four grammar schools in Bexley in September 2014 - Bexley Grammar School, Chislehurst and Sidcup, Beths and Townley.

The test will take place in September this year and there are two papers with a mixture of questions covering verbal ability and comprehension, numerical ability and non verbal reasoning. Samples of the tests are also available online.

Children will sit both test papers on the same morning or afternoon with a short break in between.

When you register, you will be sent the link to practice questions and a familiarisation booklet in the confirmation email.

For more information visit bexley.gov.uk/selectiontests, call the schools admissions team on 0208 303 7777 or email schooladmissions@bexley.gov.uk.
