A MUSIC society will be celebrating its diamond anniversary with a performance by a renowned clarinet player.

A MUSIC society will be celebrating its diamond anniversary with a performance by a renowned clarinet player.

Emma Johnson MBE, who was crowned BBC Young Musician of the Year in 1982 will be performing at the Old Bexley Music Society next month.

The former Orpington school girl will be playing with pianist John Lenehan on October 7 at Townley Theatre at Townley Grammar School, Townley Road, Bexleyheath.
