FORMER Tory leader William Hague was the guest speaker at a special reception.

The Bexleyheath and Crayford Conservatives invited the Shadow Foreign Secretary to their reception last Tuesday at the Boys Brigade centre in Broadway, Bexleyheath. More than 200 members attended the event which provided a buffet supper with wine before Mr Hague made a speech about the economy, Europe and foreign affairs.

Guests included Bexleyheath MP David Evennett, prospective

parliamentary candidate for Eltham David Gold, prospective parliamentary candidate for Erith and Thamesmead Colin Bloom and Bexley leader Teresa O'Neill.
