Information is being sought on a man who touched himself inappropriately on a train in Crayford.

A 22-year-old woman from Bexley complained to British Transport Police (BTP) about the incident on the Cannon Street-bound service on September 26.

BTP have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident on the 7.53am service.

Pc Alexandra O’Leary said: “She noticed that the man sitting opposite her was touching himself inappropriately, and, feeling uncomfortable, the victim moved seats to distance herself from him.

“Unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind is not tolerated anywhere on the rail network and we take all reports of this nature seriously.”

Anyone with information should call 0800 405040 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
