Ann Leach added: “Can’t stop thinking about you and the pain you must have been going through. I wish I could have been there for you.

Police were called at around 8.30am last Monday (10) following reports of an unconscious man in a Hurst Road property.

A police spokeswoman said: “Inquiries into his death continue to establish the circumstances. We are not treating it as suspicious.”

An inquest into the death of the Millwall FC fan has been opened and adjourned and his funeral will be at Eltham Crematorium on January 9 at 10.15am.
