The Easter holidays start in a couple of weeks - and Trust Thamesmead has announced its latest Boredom Busters programme to make sure youngsters stay active.

It is offering week-long courses in football, street dance, archery and a range of other sports and activities.

They are available for five to 19 year olds who live or go to school in Thamesmead,

The trust’s marketing and communications officer Julia Hickson said: “As well as offering something for young people every school holiday, we are proud to showcase its two new facilities by using the grass pitches at Crossway Park

“This is a part of Sporting Club Thamesmead and the arches at The Link Thamesmead: our state-of-the-art community hub which is built in the arches under the Harrow Manor Way flyover, which has got to be seen to be believed!”
