BIRDWATCHERS were treated to a guided tour of a nature reserve.

Bexley RSPB members strolled through the Crossness Nature Reserve, in Abbey Wood, last Saturday.

The group were on the lookout for migrant birds, including, reed and sedge warblers, sand martins and swallows, as well as barn owls, water voles and butterflies.

They are now looking for people to donate plants to their Spring Plant and Craft Fair on May 3.

To arrange a collection call Tony Banks on 020 8859 3518.
