Two people were arrested in Sidcup after a high-speed police car chase through Bexley last night.

The Audi A3 sports car failed to stop for police in St James Way, Sidcup, at 8.20pm.

A police helicopter and a number of police vehicles, including from Kent Police, gave chase as the vehicle drove on the wrong side of the road, past Queen Mary’s Hospital and onto the A2 towards the Dartford Crossing before leaving the car in Sidmouth Road, East Wickham just after 9pm.

Two suspects were arrested within minutes on suspicion of driving whilst disqualified and dangerous driving.
