TWO Eastern Europeans are to stand trial accused of luring a fellow Lithuanian to Britain for forced prostitution.

Andruis Zubinas, 34, and Edita Zubkova, 40, of Watermead Way, Thamesmead, denied the charges at Southwark Crown Court last Wednesday (27).

It is claimed the pair held the woman against her will and forced her to sell herself between December 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007.

They denied conspiring to intentionally arrange the arrival of a person in the UK for purposes of sexual exploitation.

The pair also denied conspiring to falsely imprison and a third count of controlling prostitution for gain.

Zubkova and Zubinas are to stand trial at Southwark Crown Court on May 12.
