UNION members have vowed to fight pay cuts due to be imposed upon mental health workers.

Four Greenwich workers for the Outreach Team at the Ferryview Health Centre, Woolwich, are due to be given new contracts minus £400 a month on March 30.

Onay Kasab, Greenwich Unison branch secretary, said: "Our whole branch will be sending a message to the employers - no pay cuts and no dismissals."

A Greenwich council spokesman said the workers would no longer be paid for hours they spent 'on-call' but not at work.
