MUSEUM bosses have dropped their bid to open its gardens for visitors and fundraising.

MUSEUM bosses have dropped their bid to open its gardens for visitors and fundraising.

The Fan Museum, in Crooms Hill, Greenwich, had its opening Sunday hours extended on July 29 but a request to open up the garden and a music license were scrapped.

The request prompted letters of objection from Greenwich Conservation Group, The Greenwich Society and neighbours in the West Greenwich Conservation Area. The grade II* listed building can now open until 5pm on Sundays.
