To mark the dissolution of South London Healthcare Trust, a video has been laid out promoting the future of Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup.

The running of the site will be taken on by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, while services are going to be run by a number of different trusts including Dartford and Gravesham.

The trust’s chief executive, Susan Acott, said: “The aim is to provide a broad range of services which are local and convenient to give people confidence.

“The future is bright.”

Oxleas medical director, Dr Ify Okocha, said: “This is an exciting time. The changes will bring the hospital up to the standards the residents deserve.”
