Welling-born Kate Bush collects CBE from Queen

Welling-born Kate Bush picked up her CBE from the Queen at Windsor Castle today (April 10).
The 54-year-old singer-songwriter is being honoured for services to music.
Her debut single Wuthering Heights, released in 1978, shot to no.1 in the charts and she has had six further top 10 UK singles.
Bush has also released nine studio albums, the last of which was 50 Words for Snow in 2011.
She is also the only woman to have top five albums in the UK charts in five consecutive decades and can add the CBE to the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music which she won in 2002 and a Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist in 1987.
