Welling United won for an 11th game in a row with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over AFC Hornchurch yesterday.

It keeps up the pressure on Blue Square Bet South leaders Salisbury City, who are two points ahead of the Wings.

The game at Park View Road was as good as over by half-time as the hosts raced into a three goal lead.

Defender Anthony Acheampong scored a rare brace, which sandwiched a strike by midfielder Jake Gallacher.

Lee Clarke completed the scoring halfway through the second-half.

Welling will be looking for another three points against bottom of the table Truro City on Saturday.
