Police have arrested six males across London and Kent, following an investigation into violent disorder at a football match in September.
Among the arrests was a 16-year-old.
The investigation came after reports of disorder at Crystal Palace’s Capital One cup tie against Charlton on September 23.
Arrests were made today at addresses in Welling, Grenwich, Plumstead, Lewisham, Tower Hamlets and Rochester.
A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, with one also arrested on suspicion of assault on police.
An 18-year old man was also arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.
Detective sergeant Andy Collin from Croydon police said: “Violence amongst supporters has no place in football; be it before, during or after a match.
“These arrests show that anyone who chooses to engage in violence, will be pursued by officers and arrested.”
Enquiries are still underway.
