A Welling drug dealer has been forced to repay more than £4,000 he has gained from his illegal practices.

Leon Njuguna, of Marina Drive, was ordered to pay back the money by Woolwich Crown Court on Monday (14). He will face a four month prison sentence if he fails to give back the £4,068.

The 23-year-old was arrested in June 2011 and charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of criminal property.

After initially pleading innocent he changed his plea to guilty in August last year at Woolwich Crown Court.

Det Ch Insp Gary Holmes said: “We’re determined to ensure that criminals, from street dealers through to those committing large scale frauds, are not allowed to keep any money they obtain from their criminality.”
