Tomorrow could be the day when Welling United end a 13-year wait for promotion to the Blue Square Bet Premier.

A point away to Boreham Wood will secure the title and they will also secure promotion if nearest rivals Salisbury Town drop points at home to Havant and Waterlooville.

Even if they fail to win in Hertfordshire tomorrow Welling can finish the job in the final game of the season at home to Eastleigh next Saturday (April 27) and Salisbury would still have to win their final two games away to Sutton United and Basingtoke.

It promises to be a tense afternoon.

The game at Meadow Park kicks off at 3pm. Visit pitchero.com/clubs/wellingutd for away supporter information.
