Welling United players and staff brought some Easter cheer to poorly children at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich when they brought around some eggs to poorly children at the end of last month.

Manager Jamie Day and star players Luis Cumbers and Loui Fazakerley were among those who went to the children’s ward as the club steps up its work in the community.

Commercial manager Paul White said: “This is the first of what we hope will become a regular tie up with the children’s ward.

“Hopefully we can support them going forward.”
