A SEARCH is on for the next golfing prodigy to take over from legend Tiger Woods.

A SEARCH is on for the next golfing prodigy to take over from legend Tiger Woods.

As the world's best golfers bid for glory at The Open Championship, children aged up to 12 are invited to Sidcup World of Golf, off Sidcup bypass, to win a prize worth £5,000.

Teeing off this Saturday and running until Sunday, the best player will receive six months' free coaching with PGA qualified professionals.

Grant Wright, World of Golf chief executive, said: "We're always looking at ways in which we can support grass roots golf and are keen to help aspiring youngsters develop."
