Woman remains in ‘critical’ condition after crash in Bexley last week

Kent Police is calling on witnesses to come forward

A pedestrian in her 60s remains in hospital after she was struck by a car last week.

The victim was hit by a silver Honda Stepwagon, suffering serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital from the scene at around 11am on Friday, March 24.

She remains in a ‘critical but stable’ condition, according to Kent Police.

Officers are calling for anyone who saw the crash in Heath End Road, Bexley to come forward.

Sgt Glyn Walker from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “I am interested in speaking with any witnesses that may have seen something which could be helpful to our enquiries.

“We understand several members of the public went to the scene to help and I’m keen to talk to anyone we haven’t spoken to yet.’

A Kent Police spokesperson added: “Anyone who was in the area at the time and has information about the incident is asked to contact SCIU on 01622 798538 or email quoting reference number DH/58/17.”
