Transport for London has released details of bus routes in Woolwich which will be affected by Olympic test events later this month

The Royal Artillery Barracks will host a shooting test event from April 18 to 22, and the Paralympic archery from May 3 to May 6 in preparation for the Games, which start on July 27.

The changes will affect routes 161, 178, 291, 386, 469 and 486 and these will also be in place for the real thing this summer.

Closures and diversions will begin on Sunday April 15 and will run until Monday May 7.

Head of development for London buses John Barry said: “The test events at the Royal Artillery Barracks will help us make sure we have the right changes in place for that event and we will be monitoring their effectiveness.

“Bus services will be an essential part of keeping London moving during the Games and TfL is working hard to keep disruption to a minimum.”
