A 22-year-old will be joining a national television channel as a news reporter.

Ellie Holland, of Welling, is “elated” about joining the new series of Community Channel’s London360.

The show aims to uncover local stories and shine a light on compelling community based campaigns and each episode is produced and presented through the eyes of young people aged 18 to 25 who are passionate about the area they live in.

Ellie said: “I’m extremely excited to present on national television and can’t wait to learn the technical elements to news production. I hope that I am able to give a different perspective to the news agenda and am passionate about giving gender and sexual minorities a voice in mainstream media.”

London360 will broadcast tomorrow (August 29) at 6pm.
