Young woman assaulted in Bexley robbery

Police are appealing for information on a Bexley robbery which saw a woman in her 20s assaulted.

They received reports of two men entering a house in Balmoral Gardens, Parkhill Road, on Wednesday, July 24. They took a safe containing cash and some jewelry after assaulting the woman and ran off down Parkhill Road then iva an alley into Hurst Road.

It happened just after 3pm and they are believed to have gone down Manor Way towards Bexley train station.

Det Con Ben White said: “This was a frightening incident which occurred during the day. We know there were many people around in the area at the time and ask for them to contact us.”
