A TEENAGER appeared in court amid tight security charged with the murder of Jimmy Mizen.

A TEENAGER appeared in court amid tight security charged with the murder of Jimmy Mizen.

Jake Fahri, 19, of Milborough Crescent, Lee appeared at Sutton Magistrates Court last Wednesday.

He is accused of killing Jimmy Mizen in the Three Cooks bakery in Lee on the morning of Saturday, May 10.

Rugby fan Jimmmy, who had turned 16 the day before his death, went out to buy a lottery ticket with his brother Harry, 18, when he was killed.

A post mortem revealed that Jimmy died from loss of blood from an injury to his neck, caused by glass.

Police arrested Mr Farhi on Tuesday afternoon.

He was remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on August 21.
