Youths face bus robbery charges

TWO teenagers have been charged with robbery after a spate of thefts on a bus route.

TWO teenagers have been charged with robbery after a spate of thefts on a bus route.

Michael Cruickshank, 19, of Starbuck Close, Eltham, was arrested on May 30 and charged on the same day. A 17-year-old who can not be named was arrested and charged on June 24.

A total of 10 robberies were committed between April and May this year along the 161 route which travels from Chislehurst to Woolwich. Both teens were remanded in custody will appear at Woolwich Crown Court on October 20.
